RICHARD A. LAMBERT, SR. | PRESIDENT/OWNER

Richard A. Lambert, Sr. is President of Robert C. Scott, Incorporated which is the parent company of Scott’s Funeral Home and Scott-Lightfoot Funeral and President of Richard A. Lambert Investments LLC.
Richard is a native of Henrico County where he attended Henrico Public Schools, having graduated from Virginia Randolph High School. He furthered his studies at Virginia Union University graduating in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. While at Virginia Union he distinguished himself by being designated for inclusion in “Who’s Who Among College Students.” In 1971 he graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science with a degree in Mortuary Science.

Richard is a staunch supporter of his family church, Westwood Baptist Church, where he currently serves as treasurer. He is the treasurer of the Virginia Mortician’s Association. He is the treasurer and past president of the Richmond Funeral Directors Association and the past president of the Central District Funeral Association. He is a past board member of the Virginia Funeral Virginia Association and member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association. Richard is a past board member of the Richmond Area Unit of the Americian Cancer Society, past board chairman and current board member of the Rubicon Drug and Alcoholic Program, past member of the Mayor’s Advisory Council and past board member and treasurer of the Bethlehem Center. He is a member of King Solomon Masonic Lodge No. 27, past member of Richmond Jayeccs and the City of Richmond Lead Program and currently a board member of the Richmond Renaissance.

He is also a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, the John W. Barco Alumni Chapter of Virginia Union University, the Richmond Metropolitan Business League, the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce, the Richmond Branch of the NAACP and charter member and past president of the North Central Richmond Kiwanis Club, board member of Roselawn Memory Gardens, board member of Westmorland Services, member of the Better Business Bureau, member of the Thebans Beneficial Club, member of Club 533, a mentor at Chandler Middle School, board member of Continentals Society, board member of the Virginia Randolph Foundation and a member of the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Richard and his wife Delorise are the proud parents of Richard, Jr. who is an engineer and Malinda who is a graduate of Virginia Tech.
