In light of the recent Coronavirus 19 Pandemic, we have an obligation to protect the welfare of our families in the community. While we choose to walk by faith and not fear, we must exercise sound judgment, respect and comply with guidelines from the Center for Disease Control, while continuing to serve our families in times of need.
Effective immediately and in place until further notice, the following guidelines have been adopted by Georgia Funeral Homes in accordance with Georgia Law and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
- Please limit in -person visits to necessary at-need funeral business or to handle financial and insurance matters. Visitors should be no more than 1 to 2 people at a time. We will be happy to arrange service details and assist families via telephone or email. As always, we will be accessible 24 hours a day in order to serve you.
- With the current recommendations to limit mass gatherings to very small numbers, we will conduct only graveside/memorial services in open, outdoor areas. Attendants should not exceed 10 people per service.
- Formal public visitations have been suspended until further notice. Private viewings for immediate family members will be arranged on an individual basis.
We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work diligently to serve the community, comply with the rules and keep everyone safe. As guidelines from the Center for Disease Control are altered. We will revisit our plan in order to stay in compliance. We pray for the safety and well-being of all!
